Deceased Name: Kahn , Joyce Robison Kahn, Joyce Robison, 75, an artist who had been active in community services throughout her life, died from cancer on Sunday at her home in Minneapolis. She studied art education at Teachers College at Columbia University, spending two years in Paris studying painting and comparative arts education. Throughout her 45 years in Minneapolis, she volunteered for numerous social service programs including the United Nations Organization of Minnesota, The Way, Sholom Nursing Home, and the Jewish Family and Children's Service of Minneapolis. She also continued to express her artistic abilities through her painting, photography, pottery, and exquisite culinary skills. She will be remembered for her warmth and devotion to her family and friends, and a rare ability to befriend those she encountered in her daily life. Joyce Kahn is survived by husband Howard Kahn; children Naomi Kahn-Ramliden and Tage Kent Ramliden of London, England, Deborah Morse-Kahn and Michael Morse of Minneapolis, and Judith Kahn of Minneapolis; sisters and brothers Leah Franks of Providence, RI, Herbert Robison and wife Mona of Haslett, MI, Ruth Kobart of San Francisco, CA, and Rabbi Robert I. Kahn and wife Rozelle of Houston, TX; and grandchild Miriam Ramliden. Funeral services Wednesday 11AM, TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324
